Jeremy Plummer to Receive Artistic Achievement Award

He’s an accomplished director, choreographer and aerial creator/choreographer and began his high flying career at Debra Collier’s School of Dance and Gus Giordano’s School of Dance in Chicago. Jeremy’s company, C5, has had its work featured as a part of Chicago’s Dance for Life for the past 5 years. As a full company member with River North Chicago Dance Company, he performed the choreography of Sherry Zunker, Frank Chaves, Randy Duncan, and Daniel Ezralow and is featured in the films Vanilla City, The Visitor, and Road to Perdition.
Through his unique blend of aerial artistry and live performance, Jeremy has created aerial shows and “living art” installments for cruise lines, special events, and most recently the International Balloon Competition in Michigan. He conceived and directed the first all aerial show for the Royal Caribbean cruise line, helping propel it to number one in the cruise entertainment industry.
Jeremy has directed and choreographed over 15 shows and musical reviews, also numerous product launches and national sales meetings for Fortune 500 companies. He continues to bring his love and knowledge of dance to students and educators across the country through the Minnesota Ballet Theater production of “Teenage Wasteland,” a dance concert highlighting the day to day lives of teenagers.
Jeremy has a long relationship with CNADM, starting as a young dance student attending CNADM workshops. He has been a regular instructor at CNADM workshops and was instrumental in helping define the Dance & More education track for students preparing for a professional dance career.
